how does your work space help to inspire you?

i was in a room with my dog and cage around my desk for so long that i really appreciate my new office/studio with a lot more space around me
but the truth is 
any size space must be organized
i am more productive with order
that is the priority, it gives me clarity

i have files and images in binders from naked binder with linen covered edges labeled by category that make them easy to access

i like to have aesthetic office supplies that make me feel more organized-many here from a favorite paper supply urbanic in venice

vintage containers and bins always improve the overall order of the space

 i always work better when my desk areas are uncluttered

 

great indirect light is a must

these stand offs were modified to support glass doors instead of solid ones to help light penetrate each room

had to add many details like art suspension cables to house samples and inspirational images to have visual access to at all times

i'd like to mention that i will have a new custom line of several small pieces of furniture, and some metal clad floors and embroidered textiles made in india, as well as some art installations. i will kick off the collections with an party to celebrate the official opening of my new AMD studio space.
