venice bienale 2015 and museo fortuny exhibit proportio curated by axel vervoordt
venice
bienale 2015
my highlights
i had read a few articles and done some research before leaving, on what not to miss
but when you arrive you are mesmerized by certain emotional responses and here is what moved me
i am providing a visual without much description, but of course please inquire regarding any questions
and on my last trip the museo fortuny had been closed for renovation so i was so happy to go and yet so pleasantly surprised to find out that axel vervoordt had curated the current exhibit there proportio.
it was the highlight and an english catalog can be ordered from his web site

art artadia artspace and more art
artadia
a fund for art and dialogue in support of emerging artists
love this organization
if you want more information read this article on why this organization was formed:
Founded in the wake of the National Endowment for the Arts’s decision to eliminate its storied fellowship program, Artadia has provided nearly $4 million in direct support to artists since 1999. For those 15 years, Artadia has enjoyed a ringside seat for observing the evolution of innovative artistic practice, and the nearly 40 works presented at the gala
artspace
shop online for art but has great interviews and helpful strategy
see magazine interviews and features for tips and an education
i suggest reading these articles
i am finding that artists are sometimes more equipped to creatively tackle spaces then interior designers. their take is much more visually interesting
speaking of which i much prefer the editorials coming from these two magazines: milieu and conde nast living, then anything much i see in the interiors, elle decor, architectural digest issues lately
